The Tower Stands Strong — But It Needs Us Now
Once known as the Cole Watch Tower, the now-renamed Omro Fox Tower remains structurally sound thanks to its steel-reinforced core and concrete floors. But the years have taken a toll on its exterior. With your help, we can preserve this rare piece of Wisconsin history and begin restoring its outer shell and attached home — before time does more damage.
Can It Be Saved?
Absolutely. Despite weathered bricks and years of neglect, the Omro Fox Tower’s bones are still strong. Its steel I-beams, poured concrete floors, and reinforced construction remain in excellent condition — making restoration not just possible, but incredibly worthwhile.

Urgent Repairs Are Underway
The roof on the main house has multiple holes, leaving the structure vulnerable to water damage. We’ve contracted a full replacement with a commercial standing seam roof in early summer. The cost is projected at $40,000. This is just the first step in protecting what’s underneath.
